The Inca civilization had conquered such a vast amount of land that the geography and climate changed very much dependent on the location. They greatly benefited from the diversity of the land, it made farming easier they could grow almost anything in the ancient Inca society. The Inca land went from the border of Ecuador and Colombia down to about 80 kilometers south of Santiago, Chile. On the west coast was the coastal desert, then were the Andes and behind them was the Amazon rain forest. This gave the people of Inca a natural barrier from any attackers that may have came.
